To get there, she has to leave Earth, which would cause her to lose her place in her family and go against their traditions. Even if Binti does leave, the galaxy is a dangerous place, with hostile people like the Meduse, an alien race of which most have grown to fear. Will she decide to leave Earth? Will she make it to Oozma Uni or die trying?? I don't know, that's all I can say about this book without spoiling it. My opinion (also no spoilers) The characters and their personalities are fleshed-out very well, I could even tell while reading who was talking even when their names weren't by the sentence.
